Welcome to our Book Club Blog!!

We now have a blog for our book club. I hope you like the name of it. We can use this blog to decide on the books we read, date of the meetings and where. We can also post links to questions, keep our running book list, and lots more. As we go along, we can make changes and decide what is the best way to use this. The main hope is that this will eliminate the endless e-mails to our indecisiveness!!

A Tie?

OK, so both polls ended in ties...I will be the tie-breakers...

I am removing my vote for the book, so the winner is
Old Man and the Sea.

And because the 11th is next Wednesday (only 5 days away), the date of book club is Tuesday, November 17th.

I hope both are OK for most everyone. As I said before, lets not cancel and reschedule, or we aren't ever going to have book club.

Now, we just need to pick a place...any suggestions?

Just a thought- Bettiann had suggested that we all try to have dinner at the Melting Pot. Would anyone be interested in dinner at there and we could discuss the book at the same time?

I love the idea of multi-tasking...discussing the book and eating some dinner. How about a simple dinner like Saladworks, Panera Bread or Olive Garden? What time are we meeting?
